Mathilde de l'Ecotais Experiments With Liquid And Light Effects For Martell Cognac

Mathilde de l'Ecotais experiments with liquid and light effects for the "Cordon Bleu" Martell Cognac range from the French alcohol and spirits brand Pernod Ricard.

Produced by Where is Brian, the film focuses on the materials and emblematic colours of the Cognac bottle - blue and gold - and thus reminds us of the caramelized character of this blend and the notes of sweet spices, gingerbread and roasted cocoa beans.

"I don't transform materials. I photograph them in their raw state." Self-taught, Mathilde de L'Écotais was first photoreported for major media.

Her great mastery of digital imaging allows her to play subtly with the light and transparency of the products, here the grapes and the reflections of the liquid. Destructuring or sublimating the reference image to surprise and give another meaning to the product, this is the way she works, whether in photography or any other medium she uses (films, video installations, books, culinary design, decoration, sensory path...).

The film is currently being released on the large screens of Charles de Gaulle Airport.
